The country’s first Homeopathy Hospital will be declared open at Welisary today. The hospital is situated at Shelton Jayasinghe Mawatha. Before this it operated only as a homeopathy treatment centre.
The ministry of indigenous medicine says the centre has been upgraded to provide resident treatment. The ministry plans to setup homeopathy treatment centres at divisional secretariat level.
The hospital will be declared open by Minister Tissa Karaliadda at 2.00 this afternoon.
